Michelle, too. It was fucking cold out there. If it were me, I would have been wearing warm, flat-heeled boots (I'm too clumsy for high heels.), a warm skirt reaching down past the top of the boots and long johns hidden underneath. Fashion be damned.

Someday, women will be seen to be as deserving of warmth and comfort as men are. That's one of my dreams.

edited to add: Although I would have been much happier to see the ladies in warm, comfortable clothing, I'll concede that they both looked fabulous.

In the winter? In Fairbanks, Alaska? I've done that. Imagine a somewhat clumsy woman making her way across the ice in -35 degree weather in spike heels. It's not sexy. I think that's when I decided that sexy boots just weren't worth the pain.
