THANK YOU for making it possible for me actually to be able to say "my President," and mean it. After eight long, miserable, agonizing, infuriating, and heartbreaking years, I actually, finally, have a President I can be proud of and stand tall knowing that he IS my country's chief executive.

I'm so grateful you arrived on the scene and had the guts to stand up and try to do something about the mess we're in!

And, PLEASE, consider pursuing FULL accountability for war crimes. Investigation and prosecution, not just some throwaway commission that will take us down a dead end. I want to make sure my beloved America does not go down in history as a nation that let torture stand and a sickening precedent to be set for future rogue presidents. Think we won't have another one like we just did? I'm old enough to remember when we thought there'd never be any president worse than Nixon.
