40. there are clear warnings about mixing pain meds and Alcohol
especially Oxycontin and vicodin. It will kill your liver. I ended up using darvocet for my spinal pain, but never had it with alcohol. I hope you are out of pain now.

29. Depends on if there is anyone in Ohio who can buy me a drink
Cause until my UE gets here in a few weeks the only thing I can afford is tap water :)

I will be drunk in spirit though, just without the spirits.

35. tomorrow I want to be sober, very sober but tonight...
Last year I had congestive heart failer. I nearly died. I'm on a nice mix of meds and blood thinners. I'm not supposed to do lots of stuff but drinking is fairly high on the list. My cardiologist said it's ok to have a drink every now and then; tonight is now. I thought about getting drunk on election night but I wanted to keep feeling what I was feeling so my wife & I waited until the following weekend to drink some champers and celebrate.

tonight I plan to have a couple of cocktails. I haven't had my favorite, burbon & soda, in at least a year and half perhaps longer.I've got a bunch of different Burbons to choose from. I think I'll have Evan Williams, it's 80 proof and made in Kentucky a great with a mixer.I plan to get a bit loaded but hopefully not enough to be hung over tomorrow.

tomorrow night my wife and I are cracking a bottle of Mumms that we've been saving. But tomorrow, for the inauguration I want to be stone cold sober.
...to better days...

Going to Civic Center here in SF to watch a live simulcast with a friend. It all starts here at o'darkthirty...so that will be painful for me, but I expect I'll be so high on it all that will make it easier!

Any DUers going to be at City Hall to watch? I'd love to meet you! :-)

Edit: I keep saying Union Square...when I mean Civic Center! I haz teh dumb!
