Bush making calls to world leaders

WASHINGTON (AP) -- On the day before leaving office, President George W. Bush talked by phone to a number of world leaders he has worked with during the past eight years.

The White House says Bush chatted Monday with the leaders of Georgia, Russia, South Korea, Denmark and Italy.

National Security Council spokesman Gordon Johndroe says that during the farewell calls, Bush thanked the leaders for the hospitality they had shown him and first lady Laura Bush over the years.

They all know, as well as many here do, that you are a War Criminal. Too little way too fucking late is all I can think of.

2. I'm sure he got good and liquored up before calling his old pals to jawbone
I really can't begin to describe my happiness at seeing the end of this idiot's term. The damage he has done to our republic is catastrophic, and it would be justice, in my opinion, to see the entire BFEE exiled from this country for life.

10. hmmm--perhaps gauging his welcome to figure out where he might or might not be wanted
I hope they set him up: "hey, george, come visit any time (heh heh, wink wink)--the sooner the better. We have a, er, special executive suite ready and waiting! And bring Cheney, Rumsfeld, Gonzales, and the rest with you!"

11. I have this image of
Bush being put on hold and having to listen to muzak. Periodically some voice coming over explaining that "all calls are taken n the order they are received. Please stay on the line. We value your call." Finally, " to help serve you better, if you are calling about the global economic meltdown, please press one; for calls regarding the crisis in the middle east, please press two; for calls on the climate crisis, press three. All others please press nine. To ensure quality control your call will be monitored"
