1. My guess would be that
the airline won't just release a full passenger list without contacting each passenger and getting permission to do so. When planes crash and passengers (and crew) are killed, names are generally not released until next of kin are notified.

In fact, one of the very first things that happens when a plane goes down is that someone with the computer authority to do so, blocks the entire Passenger Name List for that flight. I know, because I'm a former airline employee. Once, when we had a plane go down that was on its way into my airport, I immediately tried to call up the PNL. No luck. However, I was able to reconstruct most of the list by calling up every other list connected to that flight, such as outbound connections, inbound connections (meaning they'd made a connection off some other flight to get on that one), and several other lists.

2. A few local people in my neck of the woods were on it....
ironic is their doctor was in the city and went over to help. He discovered his hometown patients at the Waterways dock. The Dr. reported that EMS etc. had things well in hand.

3. The Captain had a copy of the manifest on the ferry
He had taken a clipboard with the manifest off of the plane with him, and he was contacting the other ferries to make sure that the count of rescued passengers was right.

6. Yes, but it's none of our "business".. Had there been deaths,
we would have been given their names after their next of kin had been notified, but it's probably not gonna be realeased... no need to..

The ones who want to talk to the press will find their way to the cameras, but many will just thank their lucky fortune, Sully, and go on with their lives:)
