How will this Iraq House bill pass the Senate? [the goal is to get it to Bush's desk]

All this is a little odd. I think we all know Bush will veto any Iraq troop bill. But for Democrats, a victory would be getting the bill to Bush's desk, where he would veto it. Once Bush vetoes the Democrats' bill, the onus is on him again, so to speak, as COngressional Dems would have done everything they could to "stop the war," so to speak. Am I right on this? What are your thoughts?

if it passes.

It won't reach Bush's desk alone. It has to go through the Senate first. That's one body down, one to go.
