My heart remains unchangeably frigid .....
.... toward the Bushes and the Bushies.

It may be customary to forgive and forget as one is about to move to a new phase on life. I suspect many would like that to apply to the national body.

Please leave me out of such thinking.

There is not one Bush or Bush enabler or Bush user who is worth a bucket of warm spit to me.

I cannot imagine this changing.

I would cheer as I have never cheered before if these people are prosecuted and brought to justice. But even that would not change my essential feelings toward them.

The wounding they have wrought on this nation - and on the entire world, for that matter - may yet prove to be the beginning of its end.

Bush.

Never again.

1. Little-miss-goodie-two-shoes here, I always try to be understanding, but I'm going to go ahead and
admit it: I do HATE George Bush and I dislike his family VERY much.

I'm sick of their superior, holier-than-thou, hypocritic, thieving, murdering, blasphemous, aristocratic BUSHIT!

Okay, now back to being understanding again . . . .

8. Yes! It's the truth. I hate George Bush.
I don't like giving Reich Wingers munitions against our issues "Oh, they're just a bunch of Bush Haters!"

But some people REALLY do deserve Hate and he wouldn't be hated if he hadn't put himself in this position and literally ASKED for it!

I could list for you all of their reasons and values and what they believe and their justifications, and in spite of all of that, after all of this time AND work at understanding, I do indeed hate George Bush.

Justice would have been that they were the only ones too suffer from the bu$hco years. Too bad it doesn't work that way. x(

4. agreed
I feel the same, I do not and will not ever forgive and forget what they have done to our country.. Whether or not that are tried and convicted they are guilty beyond any doubt whatsoever, in order to take even a small step towards healing our country they need to be charged and tried for their crimes.

9. You are not required (nor is it logical) to forgive
unless there has been a "genuine" display/expression of remorse by the transgressor(s).

Of course, in the bush family, there has NEVER been any indication of remorse.

SO, that only leaves, 'arrest, trial, prosecution, penalty'.

----------

Your heart remains 'frigid' b/c there has been NOT ONE IOTA OF REMORSE from that family. So your only course of action in such a hard-hearted case is to seek justice/punishment/penalty/expulsion from-the-group/society.

Peace (with a sword sometimes),

19. Well said.
I like that you emphasized the word "genuine". Genuine remorse is deserving of forgiveness in my book, but for Bush and the rest to have genuine remorse would result, at best, in a life hardly worth living. These people are never going to experience genuine remorse. Hell, we'll never even hear an insincere and perfunctory "I'm sorry" from any of these bastards.

knows how to hate.

W* would never let it go, and neither should we, at least not until justice is served.

16. A Neocon would be a Bush user
A Bush enabler would one like Karen Hugh. Or Karl Rove.

One like Cheney is a user. He rode to power on Bush. He took with him a bunch of other like minded people. He used the malleable know-nothing to further his own agenda.

17. Yeah I'm trying to think of the last time someone I thought of as "a good guy" started a war
that killed something like a million people--and counting. "good guy"?
I think not.

Gosh I can be SO judgmental at times, though!

18. Heinrich knew how to forgive, I'm with him!
Mine is a most peaceful disposition. My wishes are a humble cottage with a thatched roof, a good bed, good food, the freshest milk and butter, flowers before my window and a few pine trees before my door. And if God wants to make my happiness complete, he will grant me the joy of seeing some six or seven of my enemies hanging from those trees. Before their death I shall, moved in my heart, forgive them all the wrong they did me in my lifetime. One must, it is true, forgive one's enemies--but not before they have been hanged.
--Heinrich Heine (1797-1856)

Okay, the "six or seven" number is a little on the low side.

26. Most of bushco deserve to be in jail for a long time
poppy and three of his sons for damn sure and I'm not so sure about the other siblings either.

One good thing about the bfee and the neoCON's is they have overplayed their hands as to the point to where everyone in America is now aware of how fucked our present government has become and are open to doing whatever it takes to get it right once again. Due to the fucked up nature of all things now we were able to elect fine upstanding and honestly good people as our President and Vice-President who for the most part see the time is right for a course correction just as sure as most of us do.

And that is the silver lining of the bushco black cloud.
