I never talk on my phone while driving. Hand-helds are supposed to be illegal to use while driving in NYS, but I don't think there are billboards at the borders or anything, so out-of-staters don't know, and locals violate it too. Including people in safety-related professions.

I really don't pay much attention to pedestrians who are crossing properly when I'm stopped. I kept worrying about the people walking on the sidewalk while I was driving in the simulation.

9. It's not really a valid test

it uses a whole different set of skill sets then you use while you drive. When you drive all you need to do is observe that the pedestrian exists not keep a running total of them. On the other hand it's a good test to see if you would make a good Vegas card counter.

I don't use the cell phone while driving anyway, except for very short calls of about 1 sentence. Otherwise I pull over.

And the rabbit part is silly. People miss that because of the counting, not because of the phone. If the message is that OCD people shouldn't drive, then I wholeheartedly agree.
