C-Span host: "Obama has shown praise for Bush . . . "
Just tuned into this segment from earlier today with Fred Barnes/

Weekly Standard, Editor -- and a C-span host whose name I don't know, unfortunately.

NOT Brian Lamb -- but a fairly young white male host.

Fred Barnes noted how pleasantly surprised he was -- "Obama ran as a liberal and now

he is adopting centrist views" -- "will be more continuity with Bush years" --

This is paraphrased . . . not exact quotes

Meanwhile a GOP called wanted to point out that Obama was NOT elected by a majority

of the nation because so many are not voting. Hopefully someone will call in and

point out to that woman that the Supreme Court put Bush in the White House and

press recounts of the 2000 election show that Gore won, no matter how the votes are

counted --- "including in Florida."

Some here have given some attention to C-span when something interesting is going on --

I've always appreciated that --

1. One of the downsides of being elected President ...
is that courtesy dictates you can't call your predecessor an asshole.

Utter bullshit. Every word of it. And he knows it. Obama didn't run as a liberal, but like every single Democrat ever sounded slightly more liberal notes in the primaries than in the general. This utterly predictable, indeed standardized ritual did not in any way surprise Fred Barnes, unless of course he was hit by an anvil on the head and has suffered ever since from being easily surprised. And now he's pretending that this bullshit gets more leverage for his moronic right-wing views. Which it probably does.
