Whew! What a relief! I was really worried the raids on independent media, the terrorism charges against organizers, the generous use of tear gas, rubber bullets, stun grenades, and pepper spray on peaceful protesters, the more than 100 people arrested on false felony charges, the the arrests of more than 40 journalists, the torturing of protesters in the county jail, the private security firm caught on camera snatching protesters off the street and dragging them off to jail with no explanation as to who they were, man I thought all of this might be a troubling sign for democracy.

I feel much better now. :sarcasm:
