I remember reading a thread on this subject, but I have failed to find it. Any Help on this? Since the White House is now claiming Bush knew nothing about the firings, they are essentially admitting guilt on the part of the AG, and all others involved who are NOT the President.

THAT"S HUGH!!!11
I"M SERIES!!111

7. Somebody tell the damn fool this is his ticket out...
He can be the whistle-blower on the whole lot of 'em.

He doesn't do anything but trot out onto the lawn and do dog tricks, and we all know it. He does not decide anything, and we all know it. THEY do it all. THEY decide everything. But THEY don't have the authority, so... He can come clean and announce THEY acted illegally or he can come clean and admit he is their patsy and the force/trick him to sign orders they don't let him read.

I am not fool enough nor vindictive enough to just want his hide. I want the REAL power out. I want the REAL criminals behind bars. I want the King Pins, not just the corner pusher-man. Show DimSon a way out and nail the real problems.

Let the sot retire to what ever hidey-hole he wants to drink himself to death in. He doesn't look like he is enjoying this presidentin' gig. Give the schmuck a ticket to an early retirement and hang the brain(s) for their crimes.

Get the impaired patsy to turn evidence that STAFF is running the nation illegally.

3. I don't have the link either, but
it makes sense. Given that they "serve at the pleasure of the president", he appointed them and congress confirmed, telling them to resign without his knowledge and putting others in place using the loophole inserted into the patriot act BY ONE OF THEM certainly sounds like a criminal conspiracy to usurp his authority. That loophole not openly evades congressional oversight; it evades presidential involvement, since the AG appoints the "permanent temporary" replacement.

So either he got screwed over or he was a party to it. If he was involved, then it might be technically legal but he looks like an ass, since he's played dumb so far. And if he wasn't then he's an ass and gonzo is a crook.

Can someone find a clip of him saying w/respect to weapons crossing from Iran "Which is worse? that the top levels of government knew, or that they did not know?"

6. doesn't make sense
If US-Attorneys (et. al) serve at the "president's pleasure" - how can someone else fire them without consulting with/reporting to the president?

How did they know what bush's pleasure was or wasn't if they didn't ask him?

8. Oh, they told Bush. And then Bush forgot and ceased to know.
So it's not a lie. It's just so insignificant that Bush doesn't care to recall.

(this is a bit of :sarcasm:)
