Is anybody watching the SofS hearings?

Hillary Clinton hearings on cspan1 now. She is doing well so far.

2. I think she's doing very well.

Though, I'm kind of sick of hearing Chris Matthews say "18 million votes" over and over and over, etc. I know the point is to acknowledge her success, but they almost make it seems as if she has some weird army behind her. Mark Wittaker just said "her supporters need to be patient". Sometimes I think that Chris Matthews tries to make up for his past boneheaded remarks about Hillary by going overboard in the opposite direction. I think it's time for me to switch to C Span.


But, as someone who didn't support her in the primaries/wasn't my top choice for SOS, she is doing very well and I'm proud of her. Also, Boxer kicks ass as well.

10. Unlike you, I did vote for Hillary in the primary.... but we share this idea

stop yapping about the "18 million voters." The primaries are long over and I'd bet a million bucks that 17.8 million or more of those voters voted for Obama. I don't think of these two figures, Obama and Clinton as opponents anymore. Obama is the President and she will be SoS, making a formidable FP team to clean up Bush's mess.

Tweety just can't stop the Clinton drama thing because he hates them.

yeah, the reason why it's annoying is that they pretend as if Clinton would use these as political leverage in the SOS role.....I think Obama chose her because she thought that she would be best in that role, and I'm so sick of the talk that she would "go rogue" etc. All of it is faux drama. She'll be a good SOS.

8. I actually feel a sense of excitement hearing about all of these things being

looked at....for the past 8 sad years...I have felt trapped, just waiting for the * and company to get out of the way......now...with articulate, intelligent, problem solvers in charge...it feels exciting to look forward for a change.
