There will be some hard reality come home next week

Joe Biden is in Afghanistan, he'll be back in a couple of days. He's already been to Pakistan. I presume this will be his last visit before he is sworn in as VP. I can not help but think that the information he is gathering right now, the briefings he is receiving will do more to shape our foreign policy than any other single source of guidance. I'm not trying to belittle the place Hillary will have in foreign policy, I just think whats happening right now is going to set our course for a long time to come.
