2. I don't know how clever this response is, but I can only point to Mussolini's definition
of fascism: "Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power”. I think it is inarguable that corporations and financial institutions run the country, with the gov't serving only those corporate needs.
