Religulous - Full Movie - now free on Internet
The movie “Religulous” by comedian Bill Maher was a a sign of changing times and mores. Here there was a full length documentary movie telling about the religions made from a clearly non-religious viewpoint.
The movie did quite well in United States, but the its availability has been scarce even there in certain areas. Outside US of A one can be quite sure that the mainstream movie distributors are not very keen to include this movie in their offerings. So it is a fantastic opportunity that this movie is now freely available in the internet at the Atheist Nation website at:

Why does God hate little kids in Darfur?

But love to help football players catch passes?

Is a puzzlement.

17. my take on your 2 examples
it allows some people to show humanity by caring for the suffering in horrible situations like Darfur, and in our own back yard with the homeless, poor and sickly - and when people help others I believe God's love is shown - and as for sports players & celebs and such, they eventually fall down from the weight of their own egos eventually. And really, I don't know anyone who believes that God chooses teams to win - that's a silly superstition people want to believe in hoping their team wins. Players do thank God for their abilities, and I see nothing wrong with that.

It's nonsense.

Seriously, you can't believe that there's a God who thinks "I'll let millions starve so that themartyred can write a check for $10 a month to the Christian Children's Fund, and think he or she is doing something wonderful."

22. oh, sorry, I forgot who I was talking to... my mistake.
I never, ever, once, would insult an atheist with such argumentative slander such as to tell someone else their opinion on our existence (remember, you have an opinion also!) is nonsense.

We only will find out, once we pass on, the true purpose of life - but I'm thinking you believe there's nothing amazing about you being given life and that it just doesn't end just because, for example - you get hit by a bus when you're 5, or you die of cancer at 26, or you go on for many years insulting people on the net in that way you do so well until you're old and gray and 92! That's your choice to think that way. I simply replied without insults, something you never can do.

You are one of the worst people at discussion, because you change the arc of the wording to imply something 100% different than what the person says (I said it shows God's love is present, I didn't say it was to make people feel like do-gooders), you slander the person as being nonsensical, and deal in your own set of absolutes that dare not be challenged or you smart off.

25. You've evidenced the typical false outrage of those who think they speak for God.
Get over yourself. You're just a person with an opinion based not upon fact, but upon desire to find meaning, and a convenient, if delusional, set of beliefs.

If you don't want to hear your beliefs exposed, don't talk to me.

32. If you are on dial up and cannot watch it continuously, withiout breaks and pauses,
just hit the pause button. It will continue loading as you sleep or peruse DU or go to work, and, when convenient, hit the play button to watch it without interruptions.

16. sinners!
I love Maher, especially NEW RULES, and can't wait to see this for his take on religion - from what I see it mocks the people not knowing whatever religion very well, that they claim they're a party to!

God bless! ;)

29. "You have watched 72 minutes of the Video" "Please wait 54 minutes"

That being said it is well worth the time. It is lighthearted and Maher speaks to everyday folks as well as scientists, church leaders, a "neurotheology expert" and a Jew for Jesus. And despite being perfectly partnered with director Larry Charles (a veteran of "Seinfeld" and the director of "Borat"), he doesn't openly mock; statements spouted as fact are disputed, but Maher tries for a dialogue.

Too bad the link cut me off unless I bought their program but will wait the 54 minutes to see
if it will let me see the rest.

31. It worked fine after the 54 mins
Its a movie that even people of faith should watch in
that all he does is ask one to think.

The film is funny especially the Hash/Pot church in Holland.
