13. I Agree... She Believes In Him & I Think She SINCERELY Thinks He
will make a GREAT President. I'm sure nothing would make her happier than to see that by some chance THEY will have the opportunity to work for AMERICA and the "worker bees" that make this Republic the DEMOCRACY it once was!

She even mentioned that they have many projects they would like to see become prosperous, but it would be much better to have a larger platform from which they could deliver their message.

I also believe that if she had not felt so strongly about his candidacy she would have told him not to continue, and that would have been the end of it. They have been together long enough that I'm sure John Edwards could read between the lines and would have been able to tell if she wasn't with him "heart & soul!"

From what I've seen, she's no shrinking violet but a woman who can be outspoken and at the same time gentle and genuine in how she presents herself. Anytime I've ever seen her she has always answered questions directly without being snide or sarcastic. I'm sure she's well aware of the difficult days ahead of her, but they both spoke to that and I think if it becomes too much they will be honest and up front about it and won't play the "usual" games.

I do realize many here think John Edwards is nothing more than a "pretty boy opportunist" however that is not how I've seen him. Even though I've lived in the south most of my life I was born in the north, but two words come to mind when I think about her AND him.... TRUE GRIT.

So, I didn't vote... didn't find a question I could answer. Me? I contributed to him before and I will do it again.

2. flowers and john edwards campaign. you didn't put that as an option.
I really dont think breast cancer fund is the way to go personally. I think all other suggestions are good. She is trying to concentrate on her life OUTSIDE her sickness. I vote anything BUT cancer foundations.

3. I just recommended flowers as a f'ing show of support
Edited on Thu Mar-22-07 08:37 PM by NightWatcher
There's no need for flamewars. If you dont want to send flowers, fine. If you'd rather donate to the Cancer Foundation, fine, If you'd rather donate to his website, fine. If you'd rather bitch and moan, fine.

Sorry to be so blunt, but it was just an idea to send flowers as a show of support.

6. I am not an expert in campaign finance...
...but I think it is against the law for one person to collect money from other people, and then donate it to a political campaign. I would strongly suggest that you not do that unless you get the opinion of a lawyer.

12. I believe that is fine.
As long as people are donating directly, then I believe it is fine.
