Anybody see Frontline last night?
Just when I think I can't get anymore pissed off about the past and this administration, I find that I can.

Some poor old man trying to rebuild after Katrina - and all the rip-off con artists who were brought into help that didn't and ran away with the money - and his family torn apart - STILL.

Absolutely dispicable. I wish I believed in Hell - because frankly, I believe it would be too good for Bush/Cheney et al.

1. Yes, there were several posts about it last night - I watched, I cried, I seethed.
Who would have thought it would be humanly possible to trash so much in an 8 year administration.

2. I wonder how long it will take the Christian Right
to realize they have been praising and worshipping and kissing the ass of the Anti-Christ?

3. They will never realize it, since many of them have the same principles.
I think that organized religion and the cult like, lemming thinking it promotes (and is a very successful business, by the way) is a big part of the problem we are experiencing. If many of the so-called Christians and other religious types actually "got" what their religion is teaching, they would not stand for what we've been seeing.

4. You're probably right
if they don't by now - as they look around at all the death and destruction - then they never will. So much for "God's Man for the Job". And it is THEY who got him "selected" in the first place. No enemy has done more harm to this country.

5. Did you notice that one of the daughters, who had evacuated,
settled in Galveston and seemed ok with not returning to NOLA? She probably got wiped out again by Gustav or Ike. Too sad.

6. Yes
Did you happen to notice the quality of his work? At 82? Just incredible.
My heart broke for him.

Kept thinking of the billions in bailout that flowed from DC like water. They have done everything they could to stop people from rebuilding short of outright taking their land.
The 9th Ward will be taken by imminent domain - count on it.

7. Well, give them credit
they actually did try to take their land. Luckily, they didn't get away with it though.

8. bush Inc tried using the Shock Doctrine to remake New Orleans into a
white Republican stronghold. They wanted to make New Orleans into a Republican Disneyland, with free market rules, white dominance, and wealthy.

9. Nailed. It.
Exactly. At least THAT plan didn't work. We have 2 things to be thankful for - that and they didn't get our Social Security into the stock market.

10. Even before the storm hit NOLA BushCo told them "You're on your own, people."

And that's the way it has been right up to today. I hope all those BushCo criminals burn in hell.
