ADP reports 693,000 private sector jobs lost in December
Edited on Wed Jan-07-09 09:03 AM by jpljr77
This is the report before the official government report. http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/ADP-shows-693000-jobs-lost/story.aspx?guid={11A2598F-2D9D-48D2-A934-144BA5E1BB9C}

Most economists had been expecting a drop of around 500,000 in non-farm payrolls in December. With the ADP report, that is being revised to around 715,000.

If 700,000 is indeed the number, then 2.6 million jobs will have been lost in 2008 alone, with every month registering a drop. <shudder>
