Yemeni Jews seek safe zone in Sann’a
SANA’A // Yemeni Jews living in Amran governorate, about 60 km north of the capital Sana’a, have demanded to be relocated quickly following a recent increase in attacks and threats coming in the wake of Israel’s military action in the Gaza Strip.

This comes at a time when security concerns had already increased after Moshe Nahari, a Jewish teacher was gunned down in Rydah’s market in Amran on Dec 11.

Abdulaziz Hamud al Abdi, a former military pilot admitted that he killed Moshe Nahari following a warning that Jews should either leave the area or convert to Islam.

Students protesting against Israeli attacks on Gaza stoned Zaher Salim, a Yemani Jew, on Sunday causing some facial injuries for which he was hospitalised.
