He looks like somebody spray painted gray on the front of his hair.

12. He's dying it himself, the roots are growing out gray
And the middle part is fading as the dye washes out. The ends are dark because they're porous from previous dying so they're retaining the color. It's really sad looking.

4. That's right -
he's going natural, and his hair is going to turn out to be that pretty silver, like KO's, and not that drab, yellow-tinged gray that so often appears. Howard lucked out. So did KO.

So did I.

He's gonna look a whole lot better than that monochrome helmet look he's been sprouting all these years.

7. Tonight,
when the two guys were in the split screen, I thought, "Won't it be interesting when they're both silver, and how hot is that?"

Obama's also got a lot of gray hair, I noticed today.

Watch - the next big thing is gonna be natural silver.

My big prediction for 2009.

I have to go and stretch out for a while to rest and recover................................

14. I guess I could view myself as a trendsetter, I stopped dying my hair in '08

However, I do have dyes that I can wash out with shampoo. Right now I have some purple and blue wash out dye that you squeeze out of a tube. I also have some other wash out dyes, but I can't get it out of the packaging.

It looks pretty kewl on gray/silver hair.

15. Really?
I started going silver (with a few strands in the front - very cool) when I was seventeen. Now my hair looks like a very expensive streaking job, and it shines! I got so lucky.

So there's wash-out dye? Can you tell me more about this? Sounds like HUGH fun.

Aren't we hip?

17. Isn't hair color a funny thing, as a kid I had cotton candy white hair
then as a teenager dishwater blond, as an adult it became darker and darker and now it's silver/gray in the front and still dark in the back. The first few times I went to get my hair cut my hairdresser would try and encourage me to dye it. However, the last time I was in she said she liked it.

I paid to have it done, then started dying it myself because the dye job would only last a few weeks before the natural color started showing up at the roots. One of our clients has beautiful silver hair, and I thought why do women feel the need to dye their hair, alot of men don't seem to feel the need to dye their hair. So, I decided I'd give it a go. I've had several comment that they like it this way.

The best shampoo out color that I like is N.Y.C. (New York Color) Hair Streakers. I have Purple Potion and Boo Blue. They come in a little squeeze bottle and I just put some on my fingers and streak it from top to bottom, or sometimes I use one of the brush wands that came with the traditional dye kits I used to use. It's a very subtle effect.

Aren't we hip? Why yes I think we are!

10. He's letting the dyed stuff grow out.
I think it will look smashing once the dark junk is all gone.

18. Yes, he is definitely growing an old....
permanent dye job out. I have been watching with fascination its evolution. :) He had been using a temporary dye to cover the grey while the old black grew out, but he is even stopped using that now. Another 3-4 weeks and it will all be over -- he'll be able to cut out all the permanant stuff and go with is natural silver.

That is why I, as a brunette, don't dye my white hair -- the root issue is constant, and once a permanant dye is in, you can really only cut it out.

11. OMG I say that every night!
Why is he doing the grecian formula at home? If he wants to dye it he can certainly afford a pro. He looks ridiculous.
