Remember the nitwit suing for $54 million over a pair of pants?
He just won't give up... :wtf:

CBS/AP) A former judge who unsuccessfully sued his dry cleaners for $54 million over a lost pair of pants isn't giving up.

Roy Pearson has filed a petition with the D.C. Court of Appeals, requesting the case be reheard - this time by a nine-judge panel.

Pearson claimed Custom Cleaners failed to live up to its promise of "Satisfaction Guaranteed."

Three appellate judges agreed last month that Pearson failed to show the store's advertising amounted to fraud and said his argument defied logic.

2. I don't think he wants the money.
I think he's trying to drive those poor people out of business with legal fees.

10. Didn't he already drive that poor couple out of business.
If I believed in hell, there would be an especially hot and uncomfortable place for him there.

14. Yes, he did, the poor souls finally gave
up in disgust, despair and frustration. Why this asshole hasn't yet been permanently disbarred is beyond me. Losing his judgeship is not near enough punishment.

16. What kills me about this case is...
If someone was in this damned judge's court with the same lawsuit, he would likely throw it out as frivolous.

What a waste of human skin.

17. Oh, I hear ya. I've been in the legal field long enough to know
this type very well, and they shouldn't be in the law at all, period, let alone allowed anywhere near a judge's bench.

It's like repubs who scream and rant and rave against "frivolous lawsuits" and demand caps on damages, yet when THEY get screwed, they're the first to sue for huge amounts.

He's gotta be off his rocker to be so delusional.

15. Someone needs to take this guy
beat him until he is unrecognizable, and dump him in the gutter.

The law is insufficient to deal with such characters as these.
