It's a shame nobody really stays true to it.

But I still hold out hope. Call me an idealist, but I do.

Nobody seems to remember the responsibilities contained in the Declaration either.

2. Apparently no longer self evident. If they knew what we would do with it,

do you think the founders of this nation would've bothered?

Using our own criteria, nearly all of them would have been much better off to just pay the taxes, ignore the murders, and wait for the next King.
