Even Bush's cat couldn't make it out of his presidency....
I only have a few weeks left to go, I think the health is pretty good. I don't know been a lot of stress these last 8 years. I'll play it by ear and try to avoid crossing the street and things like that.

But seriously, the cat was so close! I bet Willie couldn't wait to get out of the WH!

1. Operation ACOUSTIC KITTY
Off-topic toward spookdom:

CIA likes cats. They turned one into a walking wire and pointed it at the Soviet embassy.

Operation Acoustic Kitty

Willie got off lucky. As the spooks say: There are fates worse than death.

2. 18 years is a good long life for a cat.. No matter what we think of the people,
I'm sure their animals live a good life..(except for the time he dropped poor little Barney)

President Bush, along with first lady, Laura Bush, and members of the Waco Midway Little League Softball World Series championship team, react as Bush accidentally drops his dog, Barney, Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at TSTC Airfield in Waco, Texas. Bush quickly scooped up the dog who was not injured. (AP Photo/Duane A. Laverty)

3. That is a long long time
18 years, good lord.

But yeah, poor Barney, that was rough. It's gotta be tough having an owner who isn't your intellectual equal carrying you around all the time.

4. Actually, my "cat-sources" tell me he liked the WH, and enjoyed being it's
protector. He wasn't looking forwrd to living back in texas with only gwbushco. Figured it was time to bow-out gracefully.
