Media Matters has again ripped Coulter to shreds-debunk of her lazy new book up
And what a sad one it is. Even for Ann, this is sloppy and unoriginal. She's going to have to whip up one hell of an "OMG did she really just say that" moment on her TV tour to get people to shell out $$ for this one, especially during the Bush recession.

She's stuck in 2004, still whining that the Swift Boaters were right, darn it!

Then there's the customary 'Fox doesn't lie' b.s

And she jumps on the new bandwagon of defending that poor widdle Sarah Palin. Ann's contribution to the cottage industry of taking up for America's Lil' Miss Walking Punchline:

"Coulter devotes four pages of Guilty <173-176> to discussing her false assertion that "Obama himself compared Palin to a pig and then denied doing so."

Yes, break out your six packs of canned outrage, conservatives, because the stupidest controversy of 2008 is back, thanks to Ann!

Anyway, enough from me. Go read the MMFA report here:

1. Everything out of her mouth is a lie. Why people listen to her
hateful ramblings is beyond me. She'll sell her books to the Limbaugh and O'Reilly crowd.

3. What continues to make me laugh is that it was PALIN who started this
whole "libstick on a pig" bs. Remember it was Sarah who said "what's the diff between a hockey mom and a pig? Lipstick!" She already SAID she was a hockey mom, so who really called her a pig?????????

She doesn't care. RW think tanks like the heritage foundation buy up her books in bulk, making them
best sellers and then they distribute them for free. The best seller gag makes retail book shops and libraries display them prominently as a best sellers. They do the same for O'Reilly, Hannity and other hacks. Like always they have to cheat. Let's hope we can stop them from cheating on elections and then we can tackle the media cheating.

7. "Obama himself compared Palin to a pig and then denied doing so."
I bet Obama wishes he had DELIBERATELY set THAT one up to drive McCain, et. al foaming-at-the-mouth crazy. I think that that moment, or at least the right's reaction to that statement, officially marked the beginning of the end for the McCain/Palin campaign (unless you count his selection of Palin itself although it initially seemed as though it might have SAVED his campaign). At any rate, I thought it was a hilarious off the cuff remark and I knew what he meant by it and who and what it was being directed towards, specifically McCain's proposals essentially being warmed-over Bushian ones. I didn't see it as an attack on Palin but then again given the fact that she made prominent use of the word "lipstick" to describe herself I guess I can kind of see why some people might immediately think about her. However, McCain, of course, had used it to attack Hillary earlier on so it wasn't like Obama was saying something thousands of other people haven't used (or heard) thousands of times in their lives.

Ah, the fresh smell of canned conservative outrage in the morning.................

8. She is stuck in 2004... which figures because it's the last time anyone cared about her
still defending the Swiftboaters? Hah.
