Thank you Bush Admin, I am also out of work
Edited on Fri Jan-02-09 04:28 AM by MarkInCA
I have suspected this was coming, and now it is here. I was let go Tuesday due to "economy". I recently paid off some debts and had a bankruptcy discharged due to being let go from a previous job. At least this time I got a few weeks of severance, and they let me keep my laptop and cell phone. It feels good to know that it was strictly financial in nature, but at the same time I am still out of work. If I don't find a job in a few weeks, I lose my house and car. I have no options since I just had a bankruptcy discharged.

My only hope is that my 20+ years in my industry and butt busting job search will get me something soon.

I voted for Obama and other dems and I am really hoping that they can pull this country together soon. I have so much to lose if not.

I made mistakes in the past, but the last eight years I have got my act together and was let down by our repub admin. I really need to benefit from the people I faithfully voted for.
