3. I subscribed to XM when NPR went to the right

XM has lots of decent talk and news radio and a good Leftist channel too (TYT, Miller, Schultz, Rhodes, etc...)

Plus I get good music commercials free, and get a good laugh when I am stuck in traffic by tuning in to the comedy channels.

I only listen to NPR on Saturday now. Car Talk, What Do You Know, Prairie Home Companion are all good all-fashioned (by that I mean "traditional" in a good way) radio shows.

When I want to stream (the Web version of XM does not carry the Left channel!), I put the Mic 92.1 Web site on, it's the Madison leftist talk station.

Edited to add the URL:

Even if I live in AZ, I prefer this to our local Progressive station (since the uber-hip radio in my Volvo decided to not pick up AM stations).

5. There's a progressive station in the valley?
What is it? I read somewhere there is a new community station trying to get started, but it has been a vast wasteland up there since the late 70's.
