She's got a well-paying gig, and she's aware of what's expected of her..

9. thing is - Mika worships Palin. Caroline has a law degree, is a constitutional scholar.

Palin studied to be a sports broadcaster.

What Caroline lacks is not brains, but a track record - she did volunteer work and raised her family while writing a couple books. She had the wherewithal to be a stay at home mom. I believe she has the intelligence and capacity to be a fine Senator. What had Hillary done prior to her election? Served as First Lady, but what substantive work had she done? And Hillary was by all accounts an excellent Senator.
Caroline will be also I believe. Both of these women want to serve and make the world a better place.

Sarah Palin on the other hand (the person Mika worships) has apparently used her office to punish people in personal vendettas. In addition to soaking the RNC for over $250k in clothes (even silk boxers for Tawd) and another $150k in beauticians..... Palin wants to make HER personal world better, she doesn't give a hoot about anyone else. Unless they can help her.

Nicholas Confessore and David Halbfinger interviewed Caroline Kennedy for the New York Times this weekend and concluded that she is "less of a candidate than an idea of one." According to the interview transcript, published in full online, Kennedy wasn't very impressed either:

NC: Could you, for the sake of storytelling, could you tell us a little bit about that moment, like, where you were, what you said to about your decision, how that played out?


CK: Have you guys ever thought about writing for, like, a woman's magazine or something? (Laughter)

DH: What do you have against women's magazines?

CK: Nothing at all, but I thought you were the CRACK POLITICAL TEAM HERE..."



During the convention she was a guest on Blitzer's show and she turned to him and said something to the affect of "you really don't know about this, do you" and they quicklybroke for a commercial.
