O.K. I'm not really sure how many zeros are in a billion and
The lack of that specific knowledge has not really had a substantial effect on my financial life but, it seems to me that if our corporate masters took the remaining 350 billion in bailout money and sent a check to every one of our approximately 350 million citizens, every man, woman and child would get, if I am doing the math right, about $35,000.00.

That would sure as hell stimulate me! I might actually go out and buy something and if a whole bunch of us bought something then the folks who sold something would have to order more somethings from the place where somethings come from and that place would have to hire more people to help provide something and jobs would be created and workers would pay taxes and the Government would have more taxes to spend on infrastructure and ...

Just sayin.

I mean, they are going to spend it anyway.

$350 billion divided by 350 million people is 1,000.

2. $1,000.00 is more like it.
350 billion divided by 350 million is one thousand.

3. Oh. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
I guess a little knowledge does not work so well as more knowledge.

4. Numbers
1
10
100
1,000
1,000,000 = 1 million

999,000,000 = 999 million

1,000,000,000 = 1 billion or 1,000 million

999,000,000,000 = 999 billion

1,000,000,000,000 = 1 trillion or 1,000 billion

6. that last one is only a billion in England
they are more logical, using 1,000 million before switching to billion.
