Highest moment the last eight years?

CHENEY: Hmmm. Highest moment in the last eight years? Well, I think the most important, the most compelling, was 9/11 itself, and what that entailed, what we had to deal with. The way in which that changed the nation, and set the agenda for what we had to deal with as an administration.

1. Mine was at the Presidio Yacht club.

Taking a break between sets, I was in the car on a beautiful night under the Golden Gate Bridge. Talking to a fellow DUer on the phone, I forgot I was smoking some catatonic trance-inducing reefer. I just kept hitting that pipe until I actually was unable to get out of the car.

I sat out there for about an hour, unable to take a single step.

They came out, looking for me.
