When things seem bleak on DU I share some of my photography in hopes that some will find peace. This is in no way meant to diminish anyone's grief, complaint, sorrow, I only want to offer a small piece of me. While we are stuck in the cold embrace of winter I offer a bit of Spring, feel free to use them as Windows wallpaper if you like, I hope it can bring some comfort.

I've been shoveling for days and the forecast says I'll be doing it through Christmas. We have freezing fog tonight so that means some beautiful frozen tree images tomorrow I hope.

I've seen enough snow and ice for the year, and it seems the winter storm warnings are starting to overlap. I like these bright, colorful flower pics instead! If you post the winter pics, I'll bookmark them for July.

Saw on the news where you're getting hit with another storm Saturday. Somethings coming here but I have no idea how bad it will be...I just want it to be over. I'm a lightweight when it comes to cold weather, unlike the hardy souls in Eastern Washington!

I love all of them but particularly like the snow scenes. I used to live in the midwest and I really miss the snowy winters. Sunny green Christmases just seem not quite right.
