How much longer can Tony Snow last?

Not that I have any sympathy for him but it must be very taxing on his endurance to be Chief Apologist for the BushCo Regime. Certainly he must know that the WH Press Corps has a good idea that most of what he spews now is unadulterated bullshit. I mean after all, he used to be one of them and one can only play such a charade for just so long.

3. The problem with Tonocchio is....
that he, like Ari before him, thinks he's smarter than the collective WH Press Corps. But he's just a condescending asshole.

He was on Faux news fer cryin out loud.

the only problem he would have is if he were told he had to tell the truth.

7. Well it's not like he had any integrity to lose in the first place
But he is just window dressing.
They'll fire him to give the Press whores something to talk about so that they can continue on with their nefarious agenda.

9. He still is working for Fox News
Granted, it's the White House Division, but it's still Fox news. As long as his puppet strings are working correctly, he's sure to keep the gig until impeachment...

10. This reprobate has absolutely no problem lying ...
Fleischer and McClellan at least looked a bit uncomfortable when telling ridiculous lies ... Snow appears to be completely comfortable.

11. That pic of Limbaugh you have is killing me. I love it.
Snow is there to stay till the end. He loves the job and Rove couldn't have picked a better BS artist.

13. Oh it's "In for a Penny, In for a Pound" with this guy. .
His first day out, his eyes were sunken, his complexion sallow. They glommed onto him, pried every private embarassment out of him and make him theirs. He couldn't leave now to save his life.

14. You don't get it...
Snow...as was the same for his predecessor, Snotty Scotty, are professionals...they have no feelings about what they're saying...they're totally emotionally and logically divorced from the answers they give. Their role is/was to protect Bush...to keep the hounds at bay and (dare we say it?) CATAPULT THE PROPAGANDA....they are not humiliated. they are not embarrassed. they are not ashamed...the only question they ask themselves at the end is, "Did we protect Bush?"

15. Not so much unlike the Secret Service detail.

It is their job to forfeit their lives and step in front of a bullet meant for their boss no matter what low life form he/she may be.

The Press Secretary is expected to sacrifice his/her dignity and credibility in much the same way. This is why I raise the question on how much longer he can last.

I didn't know until today about Snow's pending surgery. I wish him well. And I certainly hope it's not a recurrence of the Big 'C'. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
