Or so I was told by my IHSS worker. Luckily, I'm not too badly off. In fact, I'm getting better. My body's much better and I'm hoping the recent downturn in my emotional life will end very soon (like tomorrow), but what about the folks who have nobody? My family (right-wingers and fundies though they are) will keep me afloat if I should falter and get too ill. What about those who are much, much worse off? What about those who aren't even ambulatory?

Fuck you, Schwarzenegger. Go back to Austria.

Does anyone know someone who is truly going to suffer because of this? I'll be all right.

The reason I ask is I've been sort of cut off from the outside world, hoping to heal up a little. If I know how badly things are fucked up in the outside world (and I do check in from time to time), it impedes my health.

3. Sorry, I just heard that In-Home Supportive Services, etc.
was being shut down from the 17th to the 2nd due to budget difficulties. I found this through Google:

State workers rip Schwarzenegger's job furlough plan

It doesn't discuss the Christmas furlough, but it does cover other furlough ideas.
