Dick-Head Cheney apparently told RePukes in Congress that if they chloroform the auto industry, their party will "go the way of Hoover." IOW, they will be out of power for generation. Yes, there needs to be MANY conditions on this bailout: some union concessions, lots of CEO pay and perk reductions, new products, management restructuring, new business model from top to bottom,...but we can't let the auto industry go to hell. If that happens we will be in a DEPRESSION let alone a recession. If those 3 million auto-connected jobs go, so will the RePuke party of one hell of a long time. So go ahead rednecks. Just try to use this issue as a political tool to bust the unions. You'll be busting yourselves. And yet you can find BILLIONS for Iraq and BILLIONS in tax breaks for your rich buddies. Go ahead. Do it. You're gonna fuck yourselves to tears for a long, long time. Pretty funny too how at least Bush and Dick-Head even see this, but can't talk sense to their own selfish rednecks. Ha ha.
