Pushback Against Dixie Senators and Auto Bailout Sabotage: Question Their Patriotism and Morals
Edited on Sat Dec-13-08 12:52 PM by johnfunk
This is how it needs to be done:

Vitter faulted for derailing auto bailout

by Jonathan Tilove, The Times-Picayune | Friday December 12, 2008, 10:09 PM

...

"I don't know what Sen. Vitter has against GM or the United Auto Workers or the entire domestic auto industry; whatever it is, whatever he thinks we've done, it's time for him to forgive us, just like Sen. Vitter has asked the citizens of Louisiana to forgive him, " said Johnson, president of Local 2166. Otherwise, Johnson said of Vitter, it would appear, "He'd rather pay a prostitute than pay auto workers."
It's about time someone said it. Senate Rethugs had their talking points all lined up on Wednesday morning – and the leaked memo with the GOP talking points proves that the goal of derailing a bailout for American automakers was the delivery of a death blow to organized labor and working families.

Well, here are the facts:

3. What about the senators from the midwest and mountain states,
some of them Democrats, who voted against the rescue?

Can we push back against them, too?

Or is it only the eeeeeeeevul Southerners who get a pushback?

12. Because Vitter, Hunter and Corker -- the Dixie Toyota-Honda Trio, Are Out Front on the Issue
Yes, you MUST excoriate Democrats and other Republicans, but these are the three to target. Immoral. Unpatriotic. In the pocket of foreign companies.

That is how to soften up these three in particular for ignominious defeat in 2010 and 2012!

Play the memes (for example, I didn't even mention how these three a are pushing an agenda that hurts NASCAR). Think locally, act globally.

Believe me, no one could possibly despise Shelby more than I do, because he betrayed me.

17. Vitter's vote is against the interests of his state.

They need to be called what they are - liars and frauds, using this crisis as a means to harm the unions, a way to put the workers in their place.

Did any of the "incentives" offered to the foreign auto makers require that the CEOs limit their salaries?

Limit the CEO's and top management salaries - that would be a huge start - let management be the example, set the example.

20. Three simple words: "Maximum Wage Law"
Also, peg maximum wage to a large percentage increase in income tax rate. For example, if the maximum wage is, say, $3,500,000, make the second-highest rate, say, 35% on the highest tier of income up to $3,500,000 -- and 90% on every penny above that.

Think that would make Vitter's head explode?

26. The CEO's salaries of import plants here should be in "PARITY" with Japan's,
which are much lower. And not later, but NOW, as part of this "deal" because that's what the Senators demanded of the UAW - parity now.

Seems the imports in Southern states have a little disparity to fix themselves.

18. DU celeb and love object Jon Tester,
along with Baucus and Lincoln.

Reid voted against it so that he could bring it up again for a vote.

4. "He'd rather pay a prostitute than pay auto workers."
That's because he is a prostitute for the wealthy right wing in this country. The only difference is, real prostitutes are honest, he isn't, he's a coward and willing to harm other Americans just for his clients.

Their constituents will get back at these asswipes when this becomes apparent to them.

Left turn car racing will be down the shitter.
