2. You think "scabs" could keep them in business?
I don't really know how technical those jobs have become but I think they are mostly newer plants that are heavily dependent on technology.

5. If they were united enough to pull that off, they would probably be able to get certified through...
normal means.

It's like asking if someone who could kick a field goal from the 50 could do so from the 40.

6. There's something like 30-40% more capacity...
...in auto assembly worldwide than sales can support. The US outposts of foreign firms will get closed first, scabs or no scabs. It's started with BMW in SC.
