Any predictions on how absentee ballots will affect Franken or Coleman
I really respect Al for arguing for counting these votes, even though no one knows how these votes will fall. Good for him.

1. oh they have a very good idea as to how hey will fall...
And that's why they're arguing so strongly for them. Exit polls showed that absentee voters swung heavily for Franken in the election.

3. Exit polling....
.... consists of talking to people as they leave the polling station.

I don't understand how they could predict absentee ballots, which by definition consist of people who did not go to the polls.

2. I read an article somewhere that the Judge picked at random 50 of the invalid ballots to review
and found that all of them were valid ballots where the voters did nothing wrong. Thus ruled that all the invalid ballots should count.

Is this true? Is that what happened?

4. I don't think so
Many counties separated absentee ballots into groups that had been legally rejected and those that had not. It is estimated that out of 16000 absentee ballots, more than 1000 were improperly rejected. It is these that Franken is fighting for.
