1. I second that
and it appears Al is doing exactly what we'd expect. Speaking truth to power. Brilliantly.

3. Superb appeal for bipartisanship.

He went, what - 40 minutes - with barely a glance at any notes - I can't recall hearing or reading a more impressive, challenging, highly intelligent, well-phrased, inspiring speech in my lifetime. I've heard him speak in person twice, and I already admired him tremendously. And still, he just keeps improving. What an incredible human being !

7. forgotten
Have you already forgotten his other speeches? "How dare George Bush drag the good name of this nation through the mud of Saddam Hussein's torture prisons!" That's the Gore I would have voted for. If he does run, the first thing he needs to do is gather all of the top Dem political advisors in one room, especially Carville, and brick it up.

6. wonderful...He's so well informed, courteous,
and passionate. One thing that struck me about this hearing is how well he seems to know many of these politicians. He used to get criticized that he's aloof and this hearing is showing that he is/was not.
