but I haven't seen it. The question is, has anyone noticed the 'integration' of races on tv commercials, lately? Not to say, there weren't a few in the past, but I see a noticeable increase and difference. Historically, there has always been one (1) minority in a group of men or women. Now I'm seeing more one-on-one interaction between races. Such as two friends grocery shopping. One Black and one White. Customer and retailer, two mothers with their babies, two golfing buddies, etc. It's about time and I'm glad to see it. I don't know if this has anything to do with President Obama's election, but, YES WE CAN!!!!:-)

1. They figured out minorities can be every bit as gullible as the majority.

5. One of my husband's best friends is a black guy who sat with me while
my husband had his heart catheterization procedure. When we were taken to his room in the hospital my husband introduced his buddy to the nurse saying "This is my brother, Joe." Everybody got a tremendous kick out of that. Joe kissed hubby on the forehead then I kissed Joe on the cheek and we were all just glad things were OK. Not perfect certainly, but OK...

8. Aww, thanks! That's so nice!
Yes, he's doing well but it was a shock that he had to make all these lifestyle and eating changes. His buddy and I had been trying to get him to change but he just wouldn't until he got the bad news from the doc. It takes a kick in the pants sometimes, ya know?

6. It's been going on for years.
I can't name specific ads, but believe me, it has been happening for a long time.

Plus, in movies, for a couple of decades now, friendships between the races have been shown as normal, and even shown in films set in eras when the races basically didn't mix.

I think it's an important factor in why we (especially the younger of us) have been so open about other races, and so unperturbed by someone being of a different race.
