Will Fitzgerald stay on after Obama takes office?
Does anyone know how that works? Is US Attorney assigned by the AG? Is Fitzy one of the people asked to resign on Jan. 20?

2. Obama'd be a fool not to ask him to stay on.
Fitz is clean as a whistle and exceptionally good at his job.

6. I don't know AE
we all felt he was going to be the one to bring justice during the Plame deal but he let that scumbag Rove slither away-alas his feet were made of clay

8. They did a better job of stonewalling that investigation than Blago did.
Blago was so hilariously stupid about everything he did that little Timmy with his "My First Criminal Investigation Set" could have busted him.

9. by any chance is that case over regarding Fitz going after Rove
for the Plame case, Fitz strikes me as a person who is still working in the shadows of that case, or is it just wishful thinking.

5. And hopefully he can protect Obama from these idiots.
I'm sure Blago won't be the last.

7. I'm not sure what the process is but he can stay on
My hunch is PE Obama will want to keep him right where he is doing just what he's doing. If anything it will be a promotion imo
