Hey, DU same-sexers quick question....

So, a buddy of mine who's a younger gay man, was telling a story about being scolded by an older gay man because he chose to go to a straight dentist. Then he was saying that it's left-over from the old days when gay people really had to support their own community, but it's not really needed now and as a consequence younger gay people aren't as involved in the community and such like they used to be.

Anything like that happening near you?

I did get a ticket from a lesbian cop in nearby Canyon County!. Does that count?

We had a nice visit.
Turns out she likes dogs!
I told her about the upcoming local sheepdog trial. She thought she might like to come and watch!

IMHO, if your dentist knows you're gay and doesn't care, and hasn't done or said anything anti-gay, then why not give him/her your business?

My daughter's pediatrician referred us to a pediatric dentist, but we decided against going to him because he had signed the Massachusetts petition against Marriage Equality.

We asked our pediatrician to contact the dentist and ask if he'd signed the petition by mistake (some people had been tricked) and she confirmed that yes, he'd done it on purpose. We made sure our doctor knew that this is why we would NOT go to that dentist.

THAT would be THIS bigoted asshole:

"Children are very special people... the gays? Not so much..."
