A Big Progressive SHOUT OUT to Tim Carpenter Who DID GOOD on TWEETY just now!
If Tim is around these parts...I hope he knows how many of us appreciated his segment on Matthews and his "snark" to Tweety at the end...it was :applause: And, David Corn wasn't "half-bad," given his position on the Dem Side. :D

2. He had a reply at the end of his conversation with Tweety that got Tweety snarky. What did he say?
I missed it.

4. The video isn't up yet on MSNBC...but it was something like:
Edited on Mon Dec-08-08 06:22 PM by KoKo01
Tim said to Tweety: "And, we will keep you honest, too, Chris." That's not an EXACT QUOTE...but Tweety did a "Take Back" like he was hit in gut over his hypocricy and there was some dialog about whether Tim would ever be welcome on Hardball again for questioning Tweety. UGH!

I hate to do a quote about what I heard without the exact thingy...but it will be up on Matthews site on MSNBC by tomorrow morning. Maybe Tim even has it up on the Website:

6. Absolutely....I'm shocked at how little response there is to this post
...but, I guess I can understand from what I've seen posted here for awhile. There really aren't PROGRESSIVE DEMS left here on DU...and those who post as if they are must be fakers......

I don't know how else to explain it? Maybe it's me as the poster or it's that the Progressives just don't hang out here anymore. :-( Who knows? Someone does...but they aren't telling...

7. BTW...I just watched the Matthews REPEAT SHOW...Tim did EVEN BETTER
given how Tweety kept cutting him off over and over. I think they always cut some stuff from the "second show" but still it's obvious that if Tweety runs for Dem from PA that many of us would be very wary of him. A "Wolf in Sheeps Clothing" or the "Fox in the Hen House." Take your pick with that "Tweety Twist in the Wind" where one month he worships Bush Codpiece and Firefighters and the next he worries about Bush War (that he really helped promote) and the next he goes back to "Having a Thrill Up My Leg" and the next he's pretending he's a Democrat.

He is a low key "Jim Cramer." He's a Carney Barker with a "Soft Touch."

Haven't we had enough of these SHILLS AND CARNEY BARKERS TO LAST US FOREVER? :puke:
