1. maybe we should go back to 3 or 4 channels
I swear sometimes I go thru 200 channels and can find nothing. I have extended cable plus HBO and the other day saw something interesting on a History channel...oh of course that wasn't one I get. On the history channel i get was something lame.

The interesting story was on the international version you have to pay more for. HBO I am about to turn off since Bill is on vacation and we have netflix.

4. Same here
We pay $30 more a month now just so the wife can watch Animal Planet which wasn't in the cheaper channel package we had before.

5. Once my flat screen arrives
I'm dropping cable. I'm sick of paying $50 a month for crap I don't even want to watch. The only thing it's good for is cartoons, and my kids like PBS anyway. Screw the cable companies and the television networks.
