The biggest challenge for Obama is to not be bold enough?
His nature is to be cautious and to study every detail very thoroughly. He may be too hesitant to change things to the degree they need to be changed?

First of all, there needs to be an onslaught of regulations and regulators to enforce them. Otherwise, we may find ourselves in the same financial pickle in another 5-10 years. What Wall Street and the Big Banks have done to our country is nothing short of criminal. It will take some very bold leadership to challenge these powerful financiers.

Also, we need to get our troops out of Iraq immediately. There is a gamble but there may even more of a gamble four years from now? We need a leader that will challenge this military industrial complex. It is unrealistic to spend more than a trillion dollars every two years on this military, most of it borrowed. We don't need a scalpel - we need a Paul Bunyan axe.

Also, President Obama should not hesitate to use the tax code to further a social agenda that helps the majority of Americans. If that means taxing the big insurance companies and oil companies to pay for some of society's needs, then so be it. We need some bold moves in this area.

I hope he is as bold and brave and courageous as George W Bush was reckless and cowardly and fearful. This could be the last chance to save our country from a devastating downfall.
