Do you think J.E.B. has a ton of skeletons in his closet?
I do. And I think they'll rattle out if he ever tries to run for anything more than a state level job. Like Senate.

9. True, but that was when Republican policies were popular.
Still. Florida. Would Spain take it back? Mexico? Cuba? If we throw in Disney World?

5. he Ought To Re-Think This. Not Good Timing.
Not with a new administration, and a pretty big Democratic majority in the Senate. Records could be unsealed, among other things. Bad idea jebbie.

7. You mean, more than GWB?
Jeb actually has a brain. If GHW's idiot son got in with the ham-fisted historical revisionism, what is to stop the smart one?

Jeb is a huge threat. I spelled it "huge" to show how serious I am about the Jeb threat.

11. No. America has severe Bush fatigue. Any Democrat will follow the Obama plan and
compare him to his more insipid brother. The negative association to anything BUSH is an epic fail.

I hope Jeb runs. It'll be an easy victory for us.

14. Funny.
Bushco still owns the media and the Pentagon. They still play the religious and bigotry dogwhistles like some kinda maynard fersusen dogwhistle player dude. Relax, and they are back in.

Money likes Bush, and Money is healthier and more powerful than anytime since the Gilded age.

But that never stopped Poppy or Smirk. If they need to clean house, they can always throw a little side bizness Karl Rove's way. How about getting a troubled biographer to pen JEB's biography, feed said biographer lots of true dirt, then discredit the biographer. Poof...the book gets pulled from the shelves and biographer later conveniently offs himself. Oh wait, they've already done that one.

15. or the executive order declaring martial law in case of terrorist attack days before his brother
came to FL to hide out from the 911 attack. W received a dozen warnings from foreign intelligence agencies the 10 fays before 911 that contained this warning

Ossama ben laden determined to attack within the United States "Within Weeks or Days".. condi left off that last part in her testimony. W was warned specifically that they were going to attack with airplanes as missiles.

17. Jeb basically took over the CIA's Miami operations when Poppy became Vice President.
That would include everything from keeping the right wing Cubans agitated, to the family "import and export business" from Colombia (which is how Jeb met his wife) to a certain flight school ran by his buddies Wally Hilliard and Rudi Dekkers, which trained a number of half-assed pilots with Muslim names.

Jeb's got so damn many skeletons in his closet there ain't any room left for Charlie Crist clothes.

19. How exactly did this stop his father, or his brother?
Or him from becoming governor in the first place?

Skeletons in the closet presumes there's any force willing to search it. But sadly, when it comes to Bushes, all the Democrats seem to know to do is "move on" and let them come back into play. Do you see any indication Obama will be different about this than Clinton?

24. The fact that he was described as "wildly popular" by some in FL bothers me...
I'm an ex-Floridian and I don't think enough people (so many people come and go in FL) know all the skeletons. This is one of the reasons to re-visit national news stories-

Let's start with the Savings and Loan crisis and the Bush brothers, and end with the way he and Katherine Harris helped steal the election of his simian brother. Of course his wonderful children who suffered their drug problems was inevitable. These people should be sent to an island without a raft.

25. Two words:
Rev Moon.

Maybe Jon Stewart and Keith can start using thise embarassing pictures of Jeb channeling his warrior spirit. Number one, it's linked to Moon, number two with that severely undersized nose and paunchy belly of his awfulness, he looks like a D&D geek at a convention posing, sword-in-hand and that weird smug pout of his displayed front and center.

(apologies to D&D geeks who attend conventions. I go to cons too, so what does that make me? :)
