I always remember the height of anti Clinton hysteria as Gary Aldrich's book Unlimited Access in which he claimed the Clinton White House Christmas tree was decorated with sex toys and drug paraphernalia.

I vividly recall seeing him on the Today show saying these things and thinking there was no way someone could really be maing these crazy allegations - but real it was.

I bring it up here to put into context the anti-Obama shit the right wingers are coming up with. Bad as it is, it's tam compared to come of what they did to the Clintons.

I just hope the Obama team has learned from the past what to expect from the Republicans, and will be more shrewd about anticipating and countering it.
