I have a lady friend who is a republican, she's the sweetest lady in the world, married to my good buddy, but she listens to rush religiously and she and I simply don't discuss politics, it's our mutual understanding, and we get along fine.

The other day she said she actually felt sorry for poor ol' bush as he was preparing to vacate the oval office. She couldn't put any blame on him of course, she feels that all the bad news and economic downturns are not his fault, but that he's a victim of lousy circumstances beyond his control.

I simply said that I cannot personally dredge up any sympathy or pity for the man, and left it at that.

Sympathy for the Devil? Not me, no way.

I'm sick of him shitting on the veterans. I'm sick of him shitting on reproductive rights. I'm sick of him constantly opening that big shit eating mouth of his and embarrassing us every fucking time he tries to talk about politics. I'm sick of all of his bullshit. All of it. Most of all, though, I'm sick of him...LONG PAST sick of him. He knows nothing about anything. For fuck's sake, when is he going to pack his fucking bags and GO? I hope he doesn't let the door hit him on the ass on the way out come January 20, 2009 and I hope we never have to hear another mumbled, incoherent string of "words" from his mealy mush mouth.

4. My usual response involves the phrase "untold thousands of innocent Iraqis"

I know it's not just Iraqis, but Americans, "Coalition of the Willing" members, and of course Afghans and NATO troops who've died to preserve Bush's vanity.

But I usually start with the "untold thousands of Iraqis," because all but the most unspeakably sociopathic among us feel some sympathy for those people, who did not ask for this. All but the most horribly loyal right wing Rush dittoheads feel some deserved measure of guilty for the civilians, the men, women and children whose only sin was to be in the wrong oil-rich nation at the wrong time.

Ask your sweetest lady in the world how she feels about them.

5. All I can say is there must be a

really substantial payday coming for those shitwipers who have been cleaning the shit off him every time he steps in it and the ones who keep his hands clean even though they're filthy with corruption of every kind. And of course the ones who will continue to burnish his image even after he stumbles out of Washington. They haven't been stealing the treasury for nothing you know. So sympathy? Never. 6. The other day, I had a mouse in the house

so I set traps. I caught one and then turned it loose outside in the cold weather. I felt more pity for that mouse, who almost certainly died unless it found another house to go into, than I ever will for bush. He got us into this mess. So the hell with him, the hell with his people, the hell with anyone who voted for him twice.
