What would be the impact...
If somehow legislation were passed that required corporations to ensure the well-being of its workers and consumers, rather than seeking profit at all costs?

I'm asking this as an entirely open-ended question. All answers, smart-assed and otherwise, are welcome.

(I have to go offline for a few hours, but I'll be back to check later this evening.)

1. There are laws on the books, they are called OSHA
However OSHA regs have been beaten up and ignored during the last couple of decades. As Bush is going out the door he is putting through another last minute reg change which will allow toxins in the workplace.

2. You would need to be more specific; vague laws aren't a realistic option. n/t
