13. the way to fix that is to legalize and regulate it.
Right now it exists in a gray area, which fosters corruption.

15. Yes, we need to protect stupid people from those who would try to steal their money.
Those who would trust the legitimacy of online gambling are the same ones who would have fallen for the three-card monte scam pre-internet.

4. there is room between wide open
and illegal. Strict regulation would be a better bet than driving online gambling underground.

17. I'll never try to persuade anyone they should do it
but it should be a personal choice, not the government's business.

10. No.
I'm tired of the morality police, making any 'vice' a crime. It's time we start letting people out of jail, and stop fining them for being people. Smoking, drugs, sex, and gambling..what's left? Oh yeah..drinking. The only thing that can make you forget what you did.

14. I've tried my hand at that...
...without much luck, though. :/ I don't see the harm, as long as one doesn't get carried away.

16. it's taken twenty some years for me to get good enough
to make a little money at it. You can learn the basics in a matter of minutes. Mastering the nuances takes a lifetime.

20. It is illegal, isn't it?
It's illegal in Canada, but it's run by non-Canadians (aboriginals) on reserves.
