Who should be Obama's Ambassador to the Vatican??
I say Rep. Barney Frank.
That would piss them off on many fronts.
(Yes I know there are certain requirements, but one can dream.)

8. Yeah, sort of. They're not UN members. I still don't think they deserve diplomatic status.

12. They are "sort of" a country. Try to get a resident visa there without being
of a very specific religious persuasion and a VERY BIG contribution.
It's only a 'country' because of their centuries of conquest, theft and amassing power and wealth.

A 110-acre city doesn't need much in the way of diplomatic acumen. Are there any presentable Catholic Repuke senators from states with Democratic governors?

42. Another reason to say "Damn! Too bad
Bill Hicks is dead!"

In all seriousness, if Obama was serious about pointing out the Vatican's unwavering hypocrisy, Father Roy Bourgeois would be THE perfect choice. That nasty old nazi in the Vatican just excommunicated Father Bourgeois for having the NERVE to observe a dirty, nasty, evil, apple-munching, snake-chatting daughter of EVE ordained as a catholic priest.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/14/us/14priest.html?em

Fact is, Obama needs someone with the starch to tell ol Benny the Rat to call off his snakes and quit screwing with our political processes here.
