We Need A Color-Coded Gone-Zo Alert Level!
The threat level re Alberto Gonzales's continued tenure at Justice is changing day by day! We need an eye-catching yet terrifying color-coded alert system that will let us know exactly what the threat level is on any given morning! Allow me to propose one:

GREEN: Media fascinated by celebrity train-wreck; low risk of Gonzales being fired
BLUE: Karl Rove's name mentioned in connection with scandal; slight risk of Gonzales being fired
YELLOW: New subpoenaed emails released in mainstream media; elevated risk of Gonzales being fired
ORANGE: New Republican lawmaker/pundit calls for Gonzales's resignation; significant risk of Gonzales being fired
RED: Bush calls Gonzales to assure him that he has Bush's "complete support": SEVERE risk of Gonzales being fired

Today's Gone-Zo Alert Level has been raised to: RED!
